Terms of Service

These terms govern the use of VersiBuild, a construction CRM and project management service operated by Foundry Labs LLC, an Indiana limited liability company. They are written to be read by the people who sign them, so each section says what it does in the first sentence.

Accounts

An organization on VersiBuild is a tenant. The person who creates it is its owner and can add admins and members. Each internal seat belongs to one person; sharing a login between people is not permitted and breaks the activity log, which records who did what.

Subcontractor and client portal users are invited by a tenant, are not counted as seats, and are not charged. A portal user sees only the projects, tasks, documents and bid requests the tenant has shared with them.

You are responsible for keeping credentials confidential and for everything done under your seat. If a seat is compromised, tell us at security@versibuild.com and revoke the session from Settings.

Subscriptions and billing

Plans are priced per organization by the number of internal seats: Solo, Team (up to 15 seats) and Unlimited. All plans include the same features. AI is a separate per-user allocation, currently $10 per user per month for 40 Bob tasks, with overage packs of 40 tasks for $20 and 150 tasks for $50. An admin may set any user's AI allocation to $0.

New organizations receive a 30-day free trial. Payment details are collected by Stripe when billing is set up; the first charge is made the day after the trial ends. Subscriptions renew monthly until cancelled from Settings › Billing. Purchased credit packs do not expire and are not refunded on cancellation.

Prices may change with 30 days' notice by email to the organization's owner. The price on your invoice is the one that applies.

Customer data

Everything you put into VersiBuild is yours: projects, contacts, estimates, budgets, schedules, RFIs, daily logs, photos, documents and the conversations you have with Bob. We store and process it only to run the service for you, to keep it available and secure, and as this agreement and our Privacy Policy describe.

Tenant data is isolated with row-level security in Postgres. Every query is scoped to the tenant of the signed-in person by the database, not by application code alone. Public share links are read-only, carry a random token, and can be revoked by the tenant at any time.

You can export your data from Settings at any time. When a subscription ends we delete the organization's account data, uploads and outreach data 30 days later, or sooner on request, unless the law requires otherwise. Deletion requests go to privacy@versibuild.com. We do not sell customer data and we do not use it to train models.

You can delete your personal account at any time. Deletion is immediate: your sign-in, sessions and personal data are deleted when you confirm. Business records you created for a company, such as daily logs, RFIs and change orders, stay with that company and are attributed to a former team member.

An owner can also delete a company. Deleting a company is not the same as cancelling its subscription: it cancels the subscription now, locks every member out, and places the company's data on a 30-day hold measured from the deletion request. During the hold only the owner who requested the deletion can restore the company, using the link we email to them. After 30 days the company's data and files are permanently erased.

AI features

Bob answers questions from your records and drafts documents such as RFI responses and follow-up emails. Every answer cites the record it came from. Every draft is labeled AI-generated and is held behind a human approval gate: nothing is sent to a third party until a person in your organization approves it.

AI output can be wrong. You are responsible for reviewing it before you rely on it, in the same way you would review a draft from a colleague. Bob does not produce predictive scores, probabilities or forecasts, and VersiBuild makes no claim that any AI output is professional engineering, legal or accounting advice.

Requests to AI providers include the records needed to answer the question and nothing else. The providers we use are listed under Subprocessors; we do not use your data to train models.

Subprocessors

The third parties we use to run VersiBuild, their purpose and region, are listed on the Subprocessors page. We give 30 days' notice by email before adding one that processes customer data.

Data Processing Addendum

We have not published a Data Processing Addendum. No DPA forms part of these terms. Organizations that need one can ask at hello@versibuild.com.

Security

Data is encrypted in transit and at rest. Hosting backups are retained for 7 days. Security reports go to security@versibuild.com.

Acceptable use

Use VersiBuild for construction work. Do not upload content you have no right to share, do not attempt to reach another tenant's data, do not resell seats, and do not use the service to send unsolicited email through bid invites or follow-ups. We may suspend an organization that does, after notice where notice is practical.

Termination

Either side may end the subscription. You may do so from Settings › Billing. Access ends at the end of the current billing period. Your data is deleted 30 days after access ends, or sooner on request, unless the law requires otherwise; you can export it before then.

Deleting a company ends it sooner. The subscription is cancelled at once, members lose access immediately, and the company's data is held for 30 days from the deletion request. Only the owner who requested the deletion can restore the company during that hold, from the emailed restore link; after 30 days the data and files are permanently erased. Deleting your personal account takes effect immediately and does not delete a company's business records.

Warranties and liability

VersiBuild is provided as described on the site and in the documentation. We do not warrant that AI output is correct or that the service will be uninterrupted. To the extent the law allows, our total liability under this agreement is limited to the fees you paid in the twelve months before the claim, and neither of us is liable for indirect or consequential loss.

Copyright notices

If you believe content on VersiBuild infringes your copyright, send a notice under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (17 U.S.C. § 512) to our designated agent, registered with the U.S. Copyright Office:

A notice must identify the copyrighted work, identify the material and where it is on the service, give your contact details, state that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorized, state under penalty of perjury that the information is accurate and that you are the owner or authorized to act for the owner, and carry your physical or electronic signature. We remove or disable access to material identified in a valid notice, tell the person who posted it, and may close the accounts of repeat infringers.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Indiana, and any dispute under them is brought in the state or federal courts located in Indiana.

Changes to these terms

We will email the organization owner 30 days before a material change takes effect, and the effective date at the top of this page will move. Continuing to use the service after that date is acceptance of the new terms. Questions about any of this go to hello@versibuild.com.
